10+ years (currently). Besides that point, I get the appeal of restorative justice, I voted for Chesa & deeply regret my vote. What he has given us in return is a totally whack, dangerous, bastardized version of restorative justice that has only made our city so much less safe.

Where did I say any of that? It means holding people accountable- like the guy that ran over and killed two women on NYE while high on meth, repeatedly caught and released in the last year under Chesa, that story was followed by ANOTHER case where a man was ran over and also

killed leaving behind his wife and infant child. Again, caught and released numerous times, without any reprocussion or anything “restorative” and look what happens. Restorative Justice is possible, but Chesa? Nah he ain’t it.

And that’s why you step up and lead. You’re an elected leader for a reason-to lead. He didn’t campaign on saying “oh well” in cases like that and even if that is true, that scenario is probably worse, frankly, some DA who just shrugs and lets sh*t like that slide?

We have an issue of skyrocketing crime in the city, it’s literally a daily thing now since ppl know there are basically zero consequences with this DA. That’s just the truth. I can tag 5000 articles and examples showing all this but You and I aren’t going to agree, its chill.
