Um, you know they're part of the Linux Foundation right (fee paying)? They also contribute code directly into the kernel

I'm just trying to get across Google should pay for employment and not drag their problems out in the open. Pay for the work.

They do? They hire kernel developers. Also the post has a point, some distros are slower than others at releasing fixes (also note it calls out Android for monthly security releases)
