Serious question- during wartime how do we handle massive logistics issues? Is there military equipment that can be deployed to help solve the shipping backlog? Seems to me that there’s got to be alternatives.

The military has logistics infrastructure parallel to the private sector. I think in specific instances military infrastructure could make sense (naval bases to offload backlogged cargo?) but overall the is a political hesitantance to do that because it isn't a "national crisis"
