I don't think that's accurate- why go through the trouble of writing all the letters if his intent was to give up. He explicitly states his reputation was on the line. He also stated that he was not walking away from $PSTH. Also, why commit to a public interview?

He is probably trying to save face because he knows he messed up. You think he didn’t know that Sec was going to can his deal. The whole deal didn’t make sense to begin with.

Seems to me that some former or current PSTH stockholders are trying to justify having sold, or seeking confirmation bias that supports their intent to sell their PSTH holding in full, or at least in part! It’s a complete waste of time trying to rationalise with them either way!
