Because education is a public good. We recognize that as a society and because a high school degree used to be sufficient for a middle class job, education is provided free of charge up to 12th grade. Adding 2 to 4 years is hardly radical.

No, that's what endless wars and building walls that didn't do anything did. We can now take that money not being spent and actually give it back to U.S. citizens which will help their lives and better the economy. I know, terrible right? Maybe we just go back to Afganistan

No, your taxes pay for nothing. 1. Congress & banks create money by spending it into distance 2. Congress destroys money by taxation 3. The amount issued - the amount destroyed = National Debt 4. It's in our bank accounts where it's called "money in circulation"
