@MikeSievert can you explain why phones that are paid off still require 40 days on an account for unlock eligibility? Your staff keeps giving me generic links. I just want to know why. An entity controlling your hardware that is paid in full should be illegal. @MittRomney

@FCC how is it legal for carriers to exercise control on your hardware when you own it in full? Allowing carriers to be the gatekeeper to your phone after its paid off should be illegal.@MikeSievertShow this thread

Same issue w/
@TMobile The unlocked iPhone versions are also more difficult to come by w each new drop. I paid in full for the handset at the Apple Store and had to “request” unlock which Tmo granted as a “courtesy”. SMH.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
