You could be right but cargill is just so freaking humongous. Why open your books up to scrutiny if you can just stay private. 5b is peanuts. I mean it’s possible but I think unlikely.

I expect the core business to be spun out. I think we would see an extremely focused and mission oriented version of Cargill. They are huge but they’re spread out across so many industries. Much of that can be split off the core.

Fair point, they could get the money anywhere. All depends on if they want to be a public company. The roster of prepackaged LT investors is certainly a reason to work with PSTH. Do the 100+ family member/owners want some liquidity without issuing debt? If so, PSTH makes sense.
