a lot of the music i used to listen to is nothing less than embarrassing, mainly male hip hop, but that neo soul bs and any i-enjoy-fucking-men music yall did and do recommend isn’t much better for me

i used to justify it as “my culture” (so cringey). my logic was “it‘s jus what it‘s like” and it’s not responsibility to build niggas morals but as my morals developed past liberal feminist i did gravitate away from a lot of music. Thank mother nature for mixes and instrumentals!
