going to therapy is a lot like reading theory. it can only introduce so much to you and you still have to do the work of knowing the right thing and applying it. and it’s not magical or mystical information. it’s what you‘d come to eventually if you care to be a decent human.

if you need help coming to the right conclusions then you need help! but the idea that receiving what’s “right” is all it takes or that people automatically get the “right” information psychologically, socially, + otherwise is extremely presumptuous and will get y’all embarrassed
