constant comparison, thirst for validation, and parasocial engagement is very unhealthy for long periods of time every single day. take hours, or better yet take days, off of twitter if you ever feel yourself “hating” it.
“social media is toxic” is typically condescending or said by older folks who didn’t grow up like us but learn to see the nuance of it. if it doesn’t feel good it’s because it’s not. if this isn’t your job then force breaks if you must. don’t let this shit get to you any further.
