i used to agree that some things are unique to twitter but i dont believe that anymore. i think people are just bolder in some ways online + all thoughts no matter how (assumably) niche are weighed no differently from one another so views get skewed in their prevelance either way
my thing is there’s nothing more progressive or sensible about the “real world” for people to keep making that particular distinction. that i’m very sure of.
