this is why i hate when ppl only specify cis men or cishet men (or even worse only white cishet men) because all men, all cis people + all straight people benefit from their variable alignments w/ cisheteropatriarchy. they don’t benefit equally but they can and do benefit. period
people who have no investments in any of those (trans dykes mostly, some tma, some tme) get that clearly so there should be no question why we express the feelings we do and gravitate towards one another
