i honestly think a lot of people hold onto the effort of spreading awareness as a worthy act so they can feel important and productive

no srsly. think about it. if your goal is to get higher ups in america to intervene you’re basically doing imperial work. what will the rich ruling class do? nothing good for anyone but themselves! and i feel like people from within the imperial core rarely consider this at all.

maybe directly find ways to “help” or don’t. learning and unlearning can be your duty rn. researching groups that do direct action, defending marginalized people and punching up can be your duty rn. but, really, you don’t have to do anything just to say you did or have an opinion
