i hate that people expect horror to be “cerebral” or “psychological” whatever tf that means but obviously don’t expect that from every genre

scary is pretty subjective and i dont think “being scary” should be the main objective of horror movies BUT FUCK ALL THAT i got some ones i can recommend that i’d say are excellent at tension and have antagonists that are actually frightening/threatening
