a lot of these people were mutuals with me, a literal black butch, and even if they weren’t... a single tumblr search would have your run into several black butches.

it’s disappointing that so many lesbians online say that they never see any black lesbians identify as butch when working class black lesbians basically invented the concept. the ignorance is disrespectful and feels like active erasure.
