everything should be sourced though i mean a lot of things do come from books and literature. there’s sooo many free pdfs online too. just get the information however easiest for you.

i’d share a comprehensive youtube video before a book unless the information is hyperspecific to a text. you don’t have to read most whole books unless you want to. you need concepts defined and explained in a way you can understand them and there are many ways to do that.
