it's very disturbing that non-lesbians are so comfortable saying "women can explore their sexuality with no problem" as if that's the reality. many of you have never experienced lesbophobia and do not understand misogyny but that's no reason to deny their consequences so boldly.
since 13, I've experienced violent pushback from my family or my gfs' families about my sexuality. lesbian sexuality + lesbian relationships only exist in gaze or in porn or in theory. they're not "legit". these are consequences of lesbophobia + misogyny y'all continue to ignore.
never under cisheteropatriarchy are women ever advantaged /for/ being women and men disadvantaged /for/ being men. in no way does comparing lesbian relationships to gay relationships hold. talk about homophobia, lesbophobia or misogyny with range, care, and nuance or remain quiet
