to go on a slight tangent; it aligns with people believing straight men are especially harmed (read: more so than women) by patriarchy's strict gender roles because men *checks scroll* can't wear skirts without being called gay or cry in public. it's boring. it's... tired.

it's shallow and fallaciou. it's a slap in the face to actual targets of homophobia and trans/misogyny who have lived and who continue to live as themselves that men are seen as victims of patriarchy and the main people praised for anything related to gender and sexual expression
