y'all be like "everyone was homophobic years ago!" but years ago I was still gay and i remember sensible people calling out homophobia then too. why did you build your morality in 2015? idk?

i hate that shit. it’s like when people say “it was different back then” okay that doesn’t make it okay???? like you can’t be like “i said racist and homophobic shit a few years ago” and the excuse as to why be that because “everyone said it” aka you could get away with it
