y'all be like "everyone was homophobic years ago!" but years ago I was still gay and i remember sensible people calling out homophobia then too. why did you build your morality in 2015? idk?

bringing up how the majority is complicit in oppression with absolutely no critical angle that refuses to center how victims are affected is just a way to hold nobody accountable and ignore the possibilities of preventing harm for marginalized people

*whispers* also there is a difference between having negative ideas about marginalized groups present in your mind and bullying, harassing, threatening, and spreading bigotry about marginalized people. i will not treat the latter lightly because it has material consequences.
