sexuality is very much a "choice" because living true to yourself is optional. that choice means more than any "innate" feeling ever could.

stop educating me on homophobia, i've been facing that for a good ass decade now. living gay has societal consequences and despite them some of us choose being out. that is my point.

homophobia is a sufficient reason to choose not to live gay (or have discretion) and none of us are exempt from that. that's exactly my point. there is nothing neutral about being gay in our society so making the choice to live like that *anyway* is powerful.

if being out isn't safe then dont be. outness isnt worth your safety but pls dont take it out on me because you can't understand what i feel. sorry but that's not really my problem, take it out on the system that keeps you imprisoned not me
