    nobody “worked hard for their money” because work is not proportional to earnings under capitalism. meritocracy is a myth. either you’ve exchanged your labor for money and have been unfairly compensated or you have exploited people’s labor and profit by not paying those workers.

    most of the time i’d argue it’s very awkward and inorganic to straight up ask people what they like unless you’re asking about something specific. just hangin’ out wit me, listening to me, and engagin’ wit me should tell you what i do and don’t like both directly and indirectly.
