        This does not directly bear on the murder of Khashoggi , that is, what happened in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. This is peripheral background info.

        Is it a relevant fact that one of the media’s go-to sources for their Khashoggi ‘scoops’ is the protege of a guy in federal prison for his role in an assassination plot targeting the Saudi Crown Prince? I think it is.
