    love too be at a professional academic conference with 800 attendees, dedicated A/V staff and audience microphones placed everywhere, but still have an attendee choose to stand in place and yell a question at the top of their lungs 🙃

    Long suspected, but my first time seeing it so well quantified -- recommender algorithms homogenizes human behavior significantly. Presented by Allison Chaney from Princeton. My favorite paper at so far. Love Recsys Care session!

    Is there a name for the feeling of jet lag felt not physically, but digitally? Being many hours delayed from people you talk to and messages you usually get at certain times of day feels surprisingly disorienting.

    Keynote for iOS (and its remote functionality) is amazing. If you count your phone, MacBook, Touch Bar, and projector as different screens, Apple's found a way to synchronize a presentation across four surfaces on three devices at once. 🤯
