Phil, I’m an iOS engineer at PlanGrid. Learned to code for Apple platforms on a Mac mini – because it was affordable. iMac Pro doesn’t even come close to affordable, even as a well-paid developer. Hope there are more flexible and affordable desktops in the pipeline.

Macworld 1999. In adjusted US dollars: That's $2367 Base - $4,440 Loaded. Jobs learned the lesson from his NextComputer days: Hardware must be both good and price COMPETITIVE.

Congrats on the launch, Phil! Another love letter - or perhaps high on the wish list to Santa, you choose the metaphor - would be a 32GB RAM option for the MacBook Pro. Would be a tremendous boost. Cheers

Hi Phil. Developers need workstations that are upgradeable, extensible, and accessible. Every dev I know uses multiple screens. This is a nice machine but it doesn’t tick all the boxes for devs.

Display to small. This isn’t 2011. Even the older Cinema/TB Displays were 27”. Also, what’s the point of 5k on such a small screen? As a developer, I also need dual screen setup

and what stops you to put a second screen?
