You have shown your lack of knowledge about teaching and learning. All digital tools can enhance learning used in the right way. Your Apple-centric view of educational technology is just "pimping for personal gain." Oh the depths that Apple has sunk to in order to sell more iPads
-
What does that even mean? What is the lack of knowledge about teaching and learning? If you want productivity, go with a Chromebook, if you want creativity and project based learning go with iPad.

What can an iPad do that a Chromebook can't?

The average school / parent can't afford to give Macbooks or iPads to every child. Apple has no offering that offers the same cost benefits as a Chromebook. Chrome OS is also simple for admins to lock down & protect kids. If you want kids to use Macs, give them a viable option.
-
Actually if they can afford a Chromebook, they can also afford an iPad. It's more about what is the goal of the technology.
