@pschiller @apple @tim_cook During the iPhone 11 Pro presentation the first picture presented was supposedly taken with a wide angle lens, but I read 52mm? #AppleEvent #appleevent2019 #iPhone11Propic.twitter.com/Fo1oPaM2wj

The EXIF data is correct. In this shot, the photographer zoomed in 2X and focused on a subject closer than 40 cm. The iPhone intelligently used the wide camera to create a sharp, macro image. This is a great photo taken with the new wide camera in the iPhone 11 Pro!

Thanks. Why did he use the wide lens for this shot instead of the tele photo lens?

Generally iPhone with single lens cannot focus on objects at close distance so new iPhone 11 pro with new wide camera made scene wide which made object farther than which actually is so it can focus accurately and result is we get a sharp image . This is soooo 😎😎😎

Ah? I don’t get it. Do you mean that the wide lens was used, but then the photographer digitally zoomed, so the crop was 52mm equiv?
