    I spoke w/a solo founder who is mid-pivot. Tons of energy invested into the original idea, but it wasn't taking off. We celebrate people that don't give up, but sometimes giving up is the right move. I respect the courage to change direction despite one's emotions & sunk costs.

    On the other hand, at early stage post pmf it's all about relentless focus on execution. Strategy is important but it's about getting 1-2 calls right. Speed and quality of execution is the key OKR

    IMO time spent on strategy vs execution is a function of age of the company and the position of the individual Late stage senior leadership should skew heavily towards strategy / big picture / metric & business design. Leverage and non-linearity is their key OKR
