Every time I try to get into a new text editor, I'm a little more convinced that I'll have to write my own, because nobody gets the details right. Today: VS Code key chords are limited to two keypresses. Seriously, why? I need my C-c p p to open a project.

Emacs is just the best option available currently by a million miles, not The One True Editor.
I really really wish Sublime was OSS. I still use it, because it's phenomenal software, but its proprietary nature keeps me from wading into the editor wars with my head held high.
