Hi Jon, care to give an example of a real-world daily development pain point that things like hmaps, hsets and hlists solve trivially? I liked your talk on #scalarconf but I can't imagine a practical use case for this stuff :)

Good question! Trivially might be a stretch, but I use HMaps in http://co.ntextu.al to guarantee transitions in the state of the parser across substitutions of differently-typed values into interpolated strings.
