So, last night I did the same process for releasing Magnolia 0.7.0 as I've done successfully for the last year, but it's not showing up on Maven Central. Apparently I should have hit "Promote" instead of "Release", though I never did this before. Does anyone know what's going on?

I've been going through this numerous times as well, but some time ago I invested a couple of hours and now I've got a fully automatic release process. It's just a couple of sbt plugins: https://github.com/softwaremill/sttp/blob/master/project/SttpRelease.scala#L25 … but brings pure happiness ;)
I had problems with the completely automated approach, so went back to semi-automatic, which was my happy routine for at least a year...
