WHY is Sonatype so slow to publish to? WHY is Bintray not faster to sync up with Maven Central? WHY is it so painful to publish packages in the Scala community?

I've thought about it, but IMO we should be publishing more micro libraries (less size, more jars) rather than the other way around. It's crazy how easy publishing modules in cargo is! I want the same.

I agree. More tiny libraries, but each one published less frequently. I would like it to be as easy as tagging in Git.
