Getting rid of harassers is a good thing, agreed, but purging all attendees from our industry can't be the desired outcome I think.

tbh I think this attitude (which on the face of it is perfectly admirable) is a big part of the reason the Scala community is such a shitshow.

I think I'm pathologically inclined to always try to avoid and fix conflict which maybe shows in what I said. The only way I know is by trying to understand why everyone behaves the way they do, even when I don't agree with them. I know very that I can be annoying to some though.
