Lunch is necessary to socialize with my coworkers, dinner is the time I spend with my wife, which one should I drop? (I really don't want to carry my current 93+kg on 42km)
-
At some point I was practicing intermittent fasting and skipped food for 2 (non-contiguous) periods of 24 hours a week. It's an act of will, but it's absolutely possible to socialise with your coworkers while *they* are having lunch. You don't have to eat.

As soon as you'll be back to normal eating ( because let's be honest, this is not sustainable for long) your body will be used to not burning much and you'll put back more weight and fast

What you want to do to train your metabolism is give it enough nutrients so it functions well and at the same time stay fit ( a combination of strength training and cardio would be ideal)
-
I have been doing a bit of both strength and cardio, but it's not been intense. The biggest benefit seems to have been the smaller appetite developed in the first fortnight, which means I don't feel like eating more than I do...

What you should concentrate more is correct quantities of food and nutrient dense foods. I am not a nutritionist, but I have studied sports nutrition, so not an expert but I know basics

Some of us (me included) are born with a shitty and lazy metabolism (unlike lucky ass
@gabro27), but you can train your metabolism and improve it, and it's the only solution for long time health goals, in my opinionThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Not alcohol (!) and I drink water when I'm thirsty. The reduced appetite from having got through the first two weeks was enough to avoid binging, but it's also harder for me to know where to find any binge-foods in Marrakesh, so that helped!
