Developers of music recording / production software and products are the worse you can get regarding accessibility. I’m sorry, but all the workarounds and such are a big barrier even for one’s creativity, at least when stuff is some way accessible. The norm is it isn’t. #a11y.

I think that is in part true, since blind people really need to train and use their hearing effectively. And Music comes naturally from that, at least for some.
Yes, it sounds logical... but also logical enough to be made up, as it's obviously not as straightforward as me asking you if your hearing is better than mine... I just realised after I typed it that I wasn't aware of any *actual* evidence.

I think the difference would be in day-to-day situations, for instance relying on traffic sounds to decide if you can cross a street or not. Probably I’ll do it better because I do it everyday :).
