Last year, my New Year's resolution was to get some sleep the night before Scala World. It took me a week of all-nighters over the year to make it happen, but I achieved it! I don't have any good ideas for 2018. Can anyone suggest any? Be as critical as you like by implication!

Do a lightening talk (5-10 minutes, no more) on whatever speaking anything other than English. I have seen you speaking French, Spanish, Polish, Ukrainian...I think you are ready for the next level ;)

No, don't. Daniela is effectively lying about Spanish. And definitely Ukrainian!

I am, however, planning to give a talk at the Paris Scala User Group this year...

I’m not affiliated (or sadly attendee) with either but sure enough
@MadridScala or@ScalaBcn would love to see you there too (if needed I can give you a crash course in Catalan too :D)1 reply 1 retweet 1 like -

Sure enough! Jon knows he is more than welcome to attend our meetup group at Madrid. Looking forward to seeing him around here anytime soon :D

I haven't forgotten I've had an open invitation for a couple of years, which I certainly intend to take up! Thank you! :)
