      yeah well, that'd mean I need to exchange around 3 displays multiple external drives, phones, and only use android since apple itself can't even use usbc in their phones still... ;)

      Point still stands. It was identically annoying when USB-A hit the market. (also Apple makes a USB-C to Lightning cable)

      sure, transition period. yet now it's even more painful with cables which look like they support "usb-C" but that does not mean anything, so life hell during travel and trying to "the right cable"

      I still remember all of these same issues with the USB-A transition. :-) It'll pass quicker than you would expect.

      I may have said this before, but I get a disproportionate amount of joy from being able to use the same charger for my laptop and phone.

          Pixelbook update: using it in the office today, replacing my desktop computer. A single USB-C cable to my screen does charging, video, and input devices through the screen's USB hub. It is SO NICE.
