To be objective: compared to shapeless, magnolia is definitely less flexible/powerful (yet?), but as long as it does the job, I’m more than fine with tradeoffs.
I'd say it's less capable in the typeclass dimension (the more interesting one!), as it won't derive things like `Functor` yet, but it's more capable in the ADT direction, as it supports recursive GADTs and seems to work for cases which just mysteriously fail for Shapeless.
