Can anyone recommend good external displays with retina resolution? My MacBook Pro has broken my vision for anything thats not really crisp

I have an old external display at home, and that thing in the office, and I no longer use the one at home ever. I might as well get rid of it.
I've had that (or a similar model) for a while, and I find it fine for coding, but very laggy. Not sure of the cause, but if you care about lag, I'd look into it before buying one. Very good value regardless.
