Got a setup that lets you swap between 2 computers (e.g. Windows desktop + Mac) using the same monitor/speakers/KB+M? What do you use?

In related news it seems most/all KVM switches that support DVI/HDMI + USB are stupid expensive.

I've used this in the past: https://symless.com/synergy It's not perfect (e.g. you can't share monitors), but it's pretty good.

I can report a positive experience with Synergy, but that experience is about 16 years old. It might have got much worse. Other things have.

The paid version of Synergy (and it's quite inexpensive) works well. The open source version has issues and isn't maintained.
