Yeah, we do love our phrasal verbs, and don't really ever think about them!
Or should that be "ever really think"? Is there a standard order for adverbs too? ;)

Well, first variant sounds better, but I guess both are valid, meaning-wise I think they stress different things

Yeah, adverbs do seem to be the most pliable part of speech.

In school you learn rules for adverb order, they don't seem IME to actually be true as taught though.

I've seen examples where you can float an adverb (e.g. "only") anywhere amongst the other words, and the meaning becomes quite different.
