I just stumbled across two archaic English words: overmorrow and ereyesterday. Or, "the day after tomorrow" and "the day before yesterday".
I always imagined learning spoken English from written materials to incredibly challenging...

But apart from this, English tends to rely more on composing words rather then altering them to convey meaning. I find this simpler.
