      Why do B2B products hide their pricing? Does "Contact us for a quote" mean they make up the price on the spot? Feels super weird!

      That's dynamic pricing: charge the most the customer can afford.

          I think companies certainly lose some business from doing this, but maybe they make more money. Depends on market for the product/service.
