Called Comcast to take crap off my bill that I wasn't using. They offered me a $100 a month off my bill to keep same package.

They did the same for us. We have cable TV but I have never plugged it in. Odd incentives I guess.
Revenue from commercials, maybe? You're one more for their audience if it's in your package.
