Maybe Twitter has just revealed to you the surprising correlation its algorithms discovered about what else other Scala programmers like.
it's because you're so much into pop culture, Jon
I was accused of that once before in 2001 when I told my maths teacher that, as well as Beethoven and Bach, I also enjoyed Shostakovich.
I tend to match #scala with Wagner. Excessive and pompous but you love it.
Haha! This conversation predated Scala, but now you mention it... if Bach were Perl, Beethoven C++, then Shostakovich would be... Go, maybe?
However, I don't agree about Bach. Bach is perfection, maths, religiosity and hidden emotions wanting to escape. Haskell with no doubt.
Well, when you put it that way... ;) I was equating both Bach and Perl with baroqueness!
well, Bach is quite literally Baroque, but maybe not baroque
