Obviously that's better. ;) But it doesn't scale to more than two inputs so nicely. You end up effectively building an HList from pairs...
And, as I mentioned in the talk, I wrote my cool library first, then went back to try to find reasons why it was better than the status quo!

Using intersection types as type level sets is a great idea.
