I just had to come up with an ADT that looks roughly like `UpTo2 a b = Neither | FirstOnly a | Both a b` Anything similar in Scala already?
Option[(T, Option[S])]. Kind of horrible. Option[Either[T,(T, S)]]. Also horrible. So, yeah, I'd write your own.
