What exactly do you want to achieve?
Do any other #zsh users out there know if it's possible for me to (re)define my own custom glob patterns, like `**` and `~`, for file lists?

Right, so I'd like to type `vi ??/foo.scala` and have it expand to all instances of `foo.scala` in a set of dirs.

Given that it's almost always `vi` I want to run, I might be able to hack that into working! Can probably do the tab-completion.
