Sooo, for Java 10, could we remove checked exceptions? I mean, the jury is in on this feature, right?

That'd be a great idea! Could also fix the annoyance of checked exceptions in dynamic proxies.
Proliferation of code samples which only compile with certain compiler flags set might not be such a great thing.
