Is there a way to force SBT to (re)build the compiler-interface, but do nothing else?

why do you need rebuild it? Oh.. do you mean simply to trigger it to build?
Yeah, I wanted to force it in an empty Docker container so it doesn't become a step that happens *after* I've added the main source.
